Universal Studios, Orlando, contracts ScanLynx
Technologies Inc to develop "Universal Express"
Universal Studios, Orlando has
contracted ScanLynx Technologies
Inc, to create "Universal Express", their new service, that
offers park visitors the chance to avoid line waits. The "No Line No Wait"
express ride access is absolutely FREE and available to every single theme
park and resort hotel guest. It works for day guests who can reserve one
ride at a time, for multi-day pass holders who can select three attractions,
and resort hotel guests who benefit from no line, no wait ride access
all day.
"Universal Studios, Orlando, has seen first hand the strength of our programming
staff to create custom applications. This application, which they have
named "Universal Express", will not only allow visitors to move through
attractions and avoid line waits, but it will also track visitors data
to allow for better scheduling of attractions." states Jacques Watters,
Chief Executive Officer at ScanLynx Technologies, Inc.
Universal Studios has selected the Symbol 1700 Palm OS unit along with
the Symbol's Magnetic stripe reader. This will allow users to either scan
bar coded tickets or swipe guest's hotel keys.
