InventoryLynx is Integrated at Liquor Store Chain

ScanLynx Technologies, Inc. has been contracted to install InventoryLynx at Wine, Spirits and More, a large liquor store chain with six South Florida locations. InventoryLynx was integrated with their current POS (Point of Sale) software to give the capability for stores to check inventory by utilizing the Palm OS, Symbol SPT1700. Each store manager will be able to: upload the entire store inventory into the SPT1700; walk around the store scanning CPU codes on the actual bottles; verify that the quantity on hand matches the quantity in the POS software; adjust inventory levels immediately on the scanner. Additional information to be displayed on the SPT1700 will be: Vendor name and number; brand and description; volume; retail price and cost. The RF version (Real Time Information) will be available Q1 of 2002.
