Goodyear selects ScanLynx for Tire Inventory Management System
Goodyear Tire Stores can be found in just about every city and state in the country. Needing an automated system to track the movement of tires is a vital component to Goodyear's success. ScanLynx is delivering not only the inventory solution but will be installing the wireless infrastructure in stores throughout the 50 States and Canada.
The volume of tires in their inventory and how Goodyear must manage their products was a perfect fit for ScanLynx Technologies, Inc. A simplistic front end software on the handheld scanners with a real time back end interface to Goodyear's POS software results in a significant improvement of how Goodyear tire inventory is handled and accounted for.
